Arts and Culture
Museums and galleries. Restaurants and coffee shops. Boutiques and bookstores. Whether you’re into music, sports, shopping or cultural enrichment—it’s hard to find a city that has more to offer than Boston. It’s picturesque, historic, charming, and one of the world’s most walkable cities.
Wheelock is an easy stroll from Fenway Park, the Isabella Stuart Gardner Museum, the beautiful Emerald Necklace park system, and many other attractions. Our neighborhood is also home to dozens of restaurants, shops, and some of the city’s hottest nightclubs.
You can get discounted T passes enabling you to travel the city at will, making it easy to visit old friends or new ones at any of Boston’s 70 area colleges.
There’s plenty to engage you on campus too, from performances at the acclaimed Wheelock Family Theatre to youth art showcases produced through the Ubuntu Arts program to professional exhibits by New England artists at the Towne Art Gallery.
